Lighthouse Keep, St Anns head, Dale, Pembrokeshire Details
The new lighthouse at St Ann's head lighthouse was built in 1844 replacing the older lighthouse that is nearby. the keepers cottages date from the same period and the lighthouse is now fully automatic freeing Lighthouse keep up as a perfect base for holidays. The nearby lighthouse is still active but the light is shielded from the house.
Lighthouse keep has 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite equipped with free standing bath and separate walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 looks out onto the sea and has a traditional hand-forged iron double bed. Bedroom 3 has two single beds looking out onto the farmland of St. Ann's head.
The house is equipped with a cot and highchair and there is a child gate at the bottom of the stairs. The
Downstairs you'll find a well equipped kitchen looking out onto the patio and sea beyond, a generous lounge and separate dining room. There is Gas central heating throughout supplemented by a (are) log burning stove(s) perfect for autumn and winter evenings.
Outside is a south-facing patio area looking out onto the sea with a 6-person hot-tub to recharge tired feet or to just enjoy a glass of wine in and watch ships come in and out of Milford Haven.
Being dog owners ourselves we welcome up to 2 dogs to Lighthouse Keep (more may be accommodated with special arrangement). The patio area is large (check dimensions) and walled to 3 1/2 feet (check) If your dog is an explorer and can scale this you will need to keep them under careful supervision.
Lighthouse keep has full fiber broadband so you can be as connected as you like but if you choose to tell people you're out of reach we wont tell!
Opposite the front of the house is generous private parking for two cars.
