Pembrokeshire has so much to offer we've only scratched the surface ourselves but these are some of our favorite things:
Puffins and Seals!!! - Skomer and trips
7 Miles from Lighthouse keep is Martins Haven here boat trips leave to make the one mile trip to Skomer Island. Skomer is a very special place, a national nature reserve, a Site of special scientific Interest, special protection area and marine nature reserve. Skomer is a bird watchers paradise, home to half the worlds population of Manx sheerwaters, along with large numbers of guillemots, razorbills and many others and of course from March to July(check) it is home to the largest colony of Puffins in southern Britain.
Skomer is one of only 3 marine nature reserves in the UK and plays host to a wide variety of marine life including grey seals and porpoises.
You can book boat trips to land on Skomer and visit the island on foot. The island is small without vehicles and has very limited facilities with some steep and narrow paths but if you want to get up cose and personal with a puffin this is the best way. Landing trips are popular and can get sold out quickly so we'd advise booking ahead URL here. Boat trips around the island are also popular and are a good option for anyone with less mobility.

Beaches
Pembrokeshire is blessed with many beautiful beaches from small isolated inlets like nearly Mill and Watwick bays to broad sandy expanses popular with surfers such as Freshwater West. Check out River and Daisy's Beach page here
Dale
2 miles from the Lighthouse keep is the beautiful village of Dale nestling into the hillside with a pontoon jetty and beach. There are kyaking, sailing and windsurfing facilities and food options ranging from coffee and cakes to exquisite locally caught fresh fish and lobster. In season there are Dolphin/Whale watching trips and fishing trips from Dale catering for beginners all the way up to deep sea fishing for the serious sea angler.
St. Davids
St Davids is famous as the uK's smallest city. At 29 miles around St Brides bay St. David's is a great day trip out if you're in no hurry why not stop at some of the beaches on the way or combine it with a trip to Solva. St Davids cathedral dates to 1131 and unusually was built in a hollow to avoid the attention of sea raiders giving visitors today the rare opportunity of looking down on a cathedral.
St Davids City itself boasts a variety of gift and craft shops as well as galleries and coffee shops including Chapel Chocolates
Pembroke
Historic Pembroke has a great range of individual shops, cafes and galleries clustered around the vast medieval castle and is a great place for a stop on the way to some of the further beaches on the south of the peninsular The castle itself was home to William Marshal, the "greatest knight" and was the birthplace of Henry VII founder of the Tudor dynasty.
Solva
Just outside of St.David's is Solva, a beautiful inlet and harbour village. Solva was once an important port and centre for lime burning today it is known as a good example of admire this example of a flooded coastal valley and for its fossils. A mile walk away is the Solva woolen mill where they still make and sell woolen stair runners and rugs, cushions, throws and woolen accessories.
Haverfordwest
Haverfordwest is the county town of Pembrokeshire and here you'll find supermarkets and chain stores as well as the local farmers market from 9am to 2pm on Fridays.
Milford Haven
Milford haven is the largest town in the county and has a long industrial history of shipbuilding and as a significant port. You'll see a number of ships passing St Anns head making for the docs and LPG processing plant at Milford Haven
